OMG it's like summer!!

The sun is beating down and all the snow is melting. I can't wait for summer, it's practily here, I wonder if I opened my mouth too soon??

Can't seem to shake it

I can't seem to shake this damn flu. I could hardly speak again today but I made my way to work anyways.
Yesterday I got the expansion pack for the Sims 2. Boy is it ever fun to play around university.

Good Thursday Morning!

The sun is beating down and it's so nice and cool outside. Not cold...And not warm....Just nice sweater weather right now. I was supposed to work at 10am today but when I got up I had no voice and had such a bad head cold. So I called in sick ;^)
Also when I got up I realized that after lying in one position for so long my right arm was actually purple...Not a little, but a deep PURPLE!! I got a fight, I don't need my right arm to fall off right now. It's ok right now tho.
My voice is about 80% better and I took these pills that are making me feel really good. So I think I'll sneak off to the mall for a bit and get some birthday gifts picked up.

Snow

Walking home tonight was so nice, the night was so clear and crisp.Also I could smell was BBQ the whole way home just about. But halfway home it started to snow. I didn't realize it at first. I was checking my voicemail and then when I looked up from my cell I noticed these HUGE clumsy flakes falling ever so lightly down. It was so nice to see. Felt almost like Christmas all over again.
I got my new cellphone now it's a >Samsung A660< and I really like it. It's not a camera phone, but that's more of a luxury than a necessity right now.
Jenn's father was supposed to be on a local show here called Land and Sea last night but all they got was a quick shot of him on a tractor that lasted no more than 5 seconds tops. A real disappointment, but what do you do, I guess they got to make cuts to fit the show into it's 1/2 hour time slot somewhere. Sorry all for not updating like I should. I've been busy being lazy lately lol ;^)

Happy Birthday To Me!

Yesterday was my birthday, everyone was here. I got a T-Shirt that says "Yes b'y" on it, 2 boxer shorts with homer on them and some "duff" beer lol ;)
I also got the board game Cranium, It's on of the best out there, seriously, when your in a department store next go to the board games and look for it and read the back. It's fun to play! I also got an expensive watch! and 70 bux from mom and dad so I can get my new cell. I also got a book from a nice friend at work.
Now the night before there was a whole wack of people here. Some were drinking (I was one of them) and some were not. We all had a good time anyways. Then we all went downtown and me and Jenn danced the night away. I woke up the next morning with such a hangover! I've now had 3 of them. I'm don't normally get them.

Never again

I was going to yell, I wanted to cry, and scream and let it get to me. But now, I'm not going to let anything they say or do get to me ever again.
I was speaking to my mother just a few minutes ago. Jenn suggested I call and it was a good idea at that time. I just called to let them know that I already have a cake for my birthday, and if she was going to make one that's ok, but if she didn't have one started there was no need to start. It never got that far.
I was telling her that I was just cleaning up the house. I asked her how she managed to clean up after us all and stuff when we were growing up. When it was just the three of them there (les mom and dad) mom must have found les's stuff everywhere since she pretty much had the house to herself. You know, with 3 kids things never stay in one place, but with one, where ever they left something it most likely stayed there till either mom or her picked it up.
Mom flipped her lid! She started saying that Les was the only sister I had close to me and if I screw it up I'd have no one to turn to. She said I shouldn't be complaining about petty things. I tried to tell her that it wasn't a complaint, that it was more or less an observation on what a mother does when she would have kids. I don't even think I got that out after. She then said that she wasn't going to get a house for us in town if we were going to act this way towards each other and that she was getting "weird and strange vibes" that we were not getting along.
Now if that's the case we wouldn't even be living together in this house. We would not have agreed to move into that hell of an apartment in the first place and we would not have stuck together and then moved together or even bothered to look for a house to accommodate the 4 of us. Mom is just letting all this play on her mind and she is thinking about all the negative things that "could" happen.
I guess I thought I could talk to mom, I guess I let my guard down and thought of her as someone I could tell anything to. Instead of being the person to twist what I say into something so bad and meaningless.
Never again will I talk about my fears, joys, or worries to that woman, never again will I say anything more than the bare minimum a son and mother should talk about.
For those of you that have great relationships with your parents, be careful with it. Don't let it turn to this. This makes me so upset.

woulda shoulda....Didn't

I was going to update this blog when I got back on Sunday night but I never got the chance to publish it and then I just closed out of wordpad without saving. So I have to start all over again.
East Side Mario's was awesome! I had some kind of burger and boy was I ever full! I also had salad and bread. So much food! And the server there was so nice and friendly.
When we managed to get home on Saturday we played Skip-Bo with mom and dad, I swear they are addicted to that game. And we watched a movie on their new digital cable from Personia(sp?) We also watched so many old shows that just does not come on regular cable anymore.
The bed slept on was so soft but not comfortable. It sloped down in the middle, I guess it felt like sleeping in a hammock. Then that morning we had a wonderful big breakfast! Again......Sooooo much food! I swear if I moved back home I'd be 500 lbs more heaver.

Weather Sucks

I'm supposed to be in Port-De-Grave tonight, But it doesn't seem like that will be happening, with all this snow that is falling. The Weather Network first called for 5CM and then 10-15CM was forecast. Now it seems like several feet has already fallen. There goes one day of my vacation gone up in smoke. So now Jenn and I have plans made to go to East Side Mario's for supper. That should hopefully break up the night. Should have a nice time there. Anyways I should go and get ready.

Happy Birthday Yahoo!

Well today is Yahoo.com's 10th birthday and they ae giving away coupons for free icecream from Baskin Robins! MMMmmmm I printed mine off already. have you?
It's also fun having a peak at the design of yahoo when it first came out. Really basic thats for sure!
This upcoming weekend I'm going home to visit the parents. It should be fun. Mom has some meal perpared for us and I asked her about the nice big breakfast we would have once in a while when we were younger......Mmm the pancakes, bacon, sausage, toast, eggs, hashbrowns, english muffins and fruit(usually fo the pancakes). Hopefully we'll have that too!
We might go to Carbonear while we're there too, to do some shopping and stuff. That should be fun. I can remember the old Wal-Mart there like I was there yesterday. it's so small!
My birthday is just around the corner! I'll be 23 on the 13th
