Busy Day

I have today off so I went on another one of my cleaning sprees again. This time I went to Pipers (A cheap department store) and bought a new shower curtain and a plastic covering for the new table Christmasy tablecloth I bought over 2 weeks ago. I put the new table cloth on and it's very nice a festive lol. But the covering I bought is about 1 foot too big all way around. So tomorrow I'll have to return it for the smaller one. I was going to get the smaller one first, I had a gut feeling that I should, but at the last minute I chose the bigger one. Ever have that happen? When you feel like you should go with that gut feeling and then you just don't go with it? Almost always I feel like kicking myself for it afterwards.

I was doing some really heavy duty cleaning too. Like washing the walls! I hardly never do that unless They are really dirty for some reason. Like the time I dropped chocolate milk in the hallway. I swear it even spilt on the ceiling.

Don't know if many of you readers know about Rex Goudie. He is the runner up for last season of Canadian Idol. His CD can be pre-ordered as of tomorrow and HMV in the mall is having this promotion with the release. When you pre-order his CD tomorrow you get a free ticket to his concert that is sold out. Jenn wants a ticket right bad but there are already people lined up waiting outside the mall for tomorrow. The chances of getting a ticket now are slim. I pity those poor people, they must be frozen! Right now it's 4 degrees out there. I know that last night it went down to 0 degrees. I hope they are dressed warmly

It's about time I update!

Well well well, what excuse do I have this time? I'll have to dig deep now, my pocket full of excuses is running kinda empty.....Ah this one will do. "I just didn't wanna." Hummmm..... Fitting.

Really tho, I was thinking about updating a few days ago and just never had time or was playing the Sims. I got the Nightlife expansion pack to finally work. I must say, it's pretty wicked.
I gave blood today. They gave me the blood bracelet, like the yellow Livestrong bracelets. The lady that checked me in said she would give me one if I promised to encourage others to give blood. I said I would, so to everyone that reads this blog: Go give blood if you can!

Good bye Mercy

I didn't even know her real name. Yet I knew her since February 1997.
We spoke and had a few laughs, and told many stories. We were part of an online community that just wanted to have fun. We went through good times and bad, But we always had time to talk. I can still talk to her now, but this time only through prayer.

Questionable blogs

Have you ever went to the main blogger page and watch the names of the most recently updated blogs scroll up? I have and man oh man there is some lot of crazy stuff people are posting. I have even clicked on the name to see if the title really meant what I thought it did. And boy did it ever!! There is also an option to notify blogger of such sites. I wonder if it actually goes anywhere.

Today I had to do a few things so I went up to Wal-mart and Dominion. I got a cab from Irving. They ALWAYS send vans. I don't know why, I never ask for them. I must sound huge or something. This time when I got out of the cab I was closing the big sliding side door and I noticed a 5.00 bill! Sweeeeeet! So I took it and shut the door. Gotta love discounted cab rides. I'm sure the person that lost it must have been having a bad day. I sure wasn't.

I got some more Christmas shopping done. I just have to pick the rest of it up next paycheck and I think I'll be all done......Gift wise that is lol

Lost post

Uh oh, I came here today to see if there was any comments to my new post but when I came here the post wasn't here. Thinking that the problem was in my browsers cookies I deleted them all, but nothing. When I came here I see that it's not even in here. I think that last night I pressed on the close browser button(that little x) instead of publish, and that made me lose the entry. Aw well, what else can you expect from someone who would lose their head if it wasn't attached. I need some brain boosting pills or something. I hear that fish makes you smarter, so maybe I'll eat more of that....er....no, I really hate fish unless it's deepfried. And I don't really eat deepfried foods anymore, so that's out of the question. Maybe a new brain is in order lol

Remembrance Day

So yesterday I had to call Rogers to check on some information on my account with them. Around a year ago they updated their automated system to voice recognition. I HATE it! It always gets the wrong information from me and directs me to all these weird departments. Last night it wasn't even registering my voice and kept repeating itself over and over, I was screaming into the phone. It didn't even register the buttons I was pushing. I had to try 4 times before it started to understand and hear me. What a piece of garbage.
Today is Remembrance Day in Canada. Just about everything is shut down in the city besides Tim's and work. And of course I have to work. Which means 2 and 1/2 times pay!! woohoo! I'm liking that.
I also had something else to write about but can't remember at this time.

2 Days off

Well today is day 2 of 2 on my days off. I did some Christmas shopping and went to the gym again! woohoo! Total pounds lost since going to the gym is 16. Which isn't bad at all I must say. I never thought I'd say this but I actually like going, and sometimes look forward to going.
I meet Jenn at the mall today during her lunch break. We had salad from KFC. They have some great tasting salads there, I would have never expected it from a fast food place like that.
I still got lots of Christmas gifts to get and when I think I'm getting on top of it I then realize that I forgot about some people and that puts me behind gift buying schedule again. lol It's like a never ending cycle.

SNOW

Oh no! Yesterday it snowed. I got out of work and the extremely wet fast falling flakes were everywhere. I even saw a plow go down the road while walking home. I know it's November, But I don't wanna see that stuff right now. SO it's less than 8 weeks of Christmas shopping left. I'm thinking of going to 20% night at the Avalon mall next week. I know, I'm crazy to even think it. But I can't stay away from 20% off everything in the mall night!

Blond Moment

So I was at the gym today and I was using one of the pieces of equipment that focuses on your shoulders. I've used it many times before but this time while using it I was reading the instructions. There was a part there that read "Raise Elbows to meet shoulder height" and I was like "What the...." I had read it wrong and thought it said "eyebrows". So I became a little curious and tried to raise my eyebrows. I couldn't figure it out how you get them to meet should height. I was very confused with that, but non the less I tried it. I was making so many faces. I bet anyone watching me had a fine laugh. Then I read the instructions correctly and felt like the biggest fool around.
