Energy Plus!!

Wow, I woke up today and felt like I was run over twice by a truck.
I had to go to Sobeys today to pick up some food. I went to the big one that is down the road from here, it's also down hill. When I stated out I was going kinda slow and it didn't feel like I was going to make it. When I was finished and got the few groceries I needed I started to walk back and I noticed I had all this energy. I practically ran-walked home. Like those that walk very very fast and call it a sport. I'm not sure if it's in the Olympics or not, but I felt that if I was in a race today I'd totally get gold.
When I came home I started cleaning. I felt so great because I got some of the clutter cleared up that I have been meaning to do for weeks.
Then I was actually on my hands and knees scrubbing the kitchen floor! Can you believe that! lol
I am now addicted to those Sudoku puzzles. I was at work around 3 weeks ago and a girl next to me was playing it online and I was watching her play it. She told me how you solved the puzzle and I just had to try it myself. Then a few nights ago I went over to a dollar store that is right by work and I saw some Sudoku puzzle books. I picked up a few and now I'm doing them every chance I can. I even got Jenn hooked on them. I bought 2 books and I can tell I'll have to go and get more soon at the rate we're going through them.
Earlier today I went online to check the lotto numbers since the draw was last night (no...I'm not a multi-millionaire yet *sigh*) I turned on the computer and while waiting for it to boot up I was moving some stuff around the desk.
We have this swear key chain that has 4 buttons on it. When pressed, it says a few nasty things. I had moved it over to were the computer tower is placed. When the computer was almost finished loading up I heard this very unusual noise coming from the tower, or so I thought. Sounded something like "er er er er er er er er er" then changed to "pit pit pit pit pit pit"
I naturally thought the worst and started to tap the tower and shake it a little, thinking that would help. Then I realized that it was coming from the key chain. The batteries were low and it was just crapping out. A true blond moment!

Fun with Dick and Jane

I have the day off today and so does Jenn so she treated me to a movie! She is some nice to me ;^)
We saw Fun with Dick and Jane. It was really good. There was just one other person in there with us watching it.
The movie kinda made me feel sad because I bet there are people out there that are in situations like them, they may not go to the extremes they did and went with the more logical path...Bankruptcy. But still, it just must be so hard for someone to go through that.
It was lightly snowing here all day today and it felt like it should have been Christmas time. It was so nice. I really cant seem to type today. I have no idea what's wrong, it's like my hands have a mind of their own and don't want to press the same keys my brain wants them to. Maybe they are on strike and are demanding a break from typing.
There are several internal job positions available at work lately and I have applied to all of them, and have gotten no interview so far :^( wish me luck!
Apparently there is a scheduled outage for blogger at 4pm Pst...It's 7:45 pm here now. That sounds like I don't have much time left. I should post this before it gets lost

What a day!

I woke up today feeling so sleepy. I felt like I only slept about 1 hour but I had a good 7 hours sleep, so I guess I need to watch what I'm eating. That's one of the only things I can think of right now that could be causing this sudden tired spell. Maybe it's time to get the good ol' blood a check-up.
It was so windy and rainy here today, I was getting pushed around by that wind something fierce while waiting for the bus. There was a lady waiting with me. She works where I do, in the same department I work in and she lives in the apartment buildings I used to live in. She had her umbrella with her, she had it pointing into the wind and the umbrella was looking like it was going to close over her head. We both had a good laugh over that.
I went to the gym after work. It was sooo full! Damn all those people making new years resolutions to get fit! lol
I have recently increased my cardio and today I felt like just falling onto the floor and just having a nap right there.(On the carpeted areas though of course. Sleeping on hardwood flooring is not that comfortable.) Anyways, I was minding my own business using the cross trainer thingie and I realized that my shirt was more wet than normal, to the point where it felt really heavy. Oh boy! Did it ever scrub my nipples! They felt like they were on fire! I thought for sure you could smell smoke coming from them. I was trying to stop the pain without drawing attention, but that is really hard to do when both your arms should be away from your chest. I can just imagine what I looked like.
I saw an episode of The Simpsons once where homer was going through a checklist of things to take with him while he jogged somewhere. One of the things was band-aids for nipple chaffing. Very funny, and now I see it as a practical item to put on a checklist if a checklist was ever needed.

Revue 05

On Wednesday night Jenn and I went to see Revue 05 at the St. John's Arts and Culture Centre.
I thought I was going to be left in the dark with most of their skits because I really didn't keep up with the politics this year(Like I ever do any year? lol) but I did have a great laugh. We were right up in front row seats too! They also sung a serious song about the Portnoy family. It was really nice.

The weather around here is really strange lately. We're getting rain and mild temperatures. Not like last year. So far this year I don't say we had a time where there was more than a foot of snow on the ground.

I really don't have much else to say at the moment.

Have a Fit Day

While at work yesterday I was talking to a friend and she was telling me about a website she just happened onto earlier that morning called fitday.com
It's a wonderful tool that you can use to trach what you eat, the exercise you do(yes, even sex is included) and it tells you how much you have to lose on a weekly basis to reach your goal. It also tells you the amount of fat, carbs, and protein you consumed that day. It is really neat and it's free to sign up. go have a look: www.fitday.com

Movie Time

I saw The Chronicles of Narnia today. It was very good. Except for the fact that there was this annoying man sitting next to me the just would not shut up. He was talking to his daughter and it even seemed like she was getting annoyed. Before the movie started they showed a preview for Curious George and the father yells out and points. "That's Curious George!!" I felt like telling him to calm down and not shit his pants.
I did see some previews that really got me interested and I wanna go see them when they come out. One is called Lady in the Water directed and written by M. Night Shyamalan. Now if you saw the 6th sense or The Village then you know that this movie will most likely flip flop close to the end and totally catch you of guard and then all the pieces fall to place. Another movie coming out soon is called "Cars"...Or maybe "The Cars"...Either way it's created by Pixar (Yep, a cartoon!) it looks like a fun movie.

Ouch my eyes!

Sorry about that post on the 4th, I really didn't feel like saying much of anything. I know how it sucks when you read a blog and then the next 10 updates are small things that really contain not much of anything.
I'm doing a lot of chores today, sweeping and moping and laundry. The usual stuff. I'm making str-fry for Jenn for when she gets off work tonight. I hope it turns out good. One time I made it and it wasn't even fit to feed to a pig. I have been craving the food at a restaurant here lately, named The Red Pepper. It's Mongolian food and it is soooo good! Mmmmmmmm
I can tell that so far this weekend will be uneventful at best. Jenn is going home for the weekend for a much needed visit and I'll just be chillin here since I cant afford to go out there. I just might get the new design up and running by that time. It won't be fully functional at first but as long as the blog gets up and running that's all I'd really care about at first.
Oy! The fumes from the Mr Clean I used to mop the floor are burning my eyes. I guess I used to much lol
I should go and finish making my str-fry. I can't wait to try it!

HAPPY 2006!!!

I hope everyone had a great new years. I did.
I got my computer back on the 2nd and they said they found 10 Viruses and 30 high risk sypware things! 75.00 later I'm clean - This time I hope it's for a long long time.
After the count down we went downtown to Peddlers. I did a lot of dancing, we left there around 2am an 45 minutes later we finally got a cab! It was crazy, people everywhere trying to get a cab.
It sucks how there are only so many around here.

I have the redesign almost done. If you'd like to take a sneek peek and tell me what you think you can >click here<
