Brain Freeze!.....Ouch
It is so hot here today I swear I've sweated off 10 pounds lol
I went over to Needs just a little while ago and I got a Kool-Aid Slushie, I drank most of it too fast and I am just now recovering from the worst brain freeze I've ever had. It was so bad I felt like throwing up. Needs is like Newfoundland's version of a 7-11 I think. I like the store but I think that some of their items are over priced.
So sorry for the lack of updates. I really just wasn't in the mood, some things came up a few days ago and I really just didn't spend much time online. But when I did I was on Ebay.ca I had an account set up with them ages ago and just never bothered to go back to the site. I was online at work about a week ago and was trying to find a computer game to buy. I checked Futureshop, Walmart, Amazon, you name it, I most likely checked it. I even checked out the game creators site and they said they didn't make it anymore and had no more copies left! yikes! So I thought about using Ebay. I checked to see if my account was still active, and it was. So I did a search and found the game. The next few days I kept checking back to see if anyone outbid me. I tell ya, it's crazy, I found myself checking the site almost on a hourly bases. I got the game in the end. Paid 10.00 (American) more than I had expected because of some other person kept on bidding.
So When I came home on Tuesday mom was here! What a surprise! Nan had bought her a ticket to come home because all her sisters(except one) was coming home and Nan really wanted her to be there. It's nice when family comes to visit.
Well I must go on and try to stay cool, this room I'm in is just way too hot.

Ringo
Hey all! Yes I'm still alive. Sorry for the lack of updating, nothing new has really been happening so I really didn't have much to say.
It's really summer time here now. Everyday it seems like it's above 20C We now have to sleep with a fan going in the bedroom and the window opened. Every morning around 4:30 am I get woken up by the birds outside chirping away. Haven't they ever thought about sleeping in?
Yesterday while getting ready for work the door bell rings. The only time it ever rings that early is when Mourmans(sp?) come door to door. I hate answering the door for them. They just don't go away! I have been told not to be afraid to be stern and to the point with them and then they will leave you alone. I'm just chicken shit is all. So I peek around the corner and look though the door window and see the mail man! So I rush back to the room and get dressed and as I was coming back to the door the mailman was trying to fit a big box between the screen door and the main door. I got mom's care package!!! Woohoo! Chocolate and bubble gum, books, clothes, and an electric fly swatter! And some smaller things too. I love getting these packages. So much fun!
2 days ago I signed up for Ringo. If anyone else has it and wants to be on my friends list then ask me and we can work something out ;^)

Dry as the Sahara Desert! - and Downtown!
I have the day off today so I decided to call customer service for the dehumidifier that we bought not too long ago. There has been next to no water in the bucket, so I thought it could be broken.
They told me that I had the RH(Relative humidity) down too low (we had it set for 30%) the nice lady said that the Sahara Desert is around 25% so we really needed to turn it up a bit (she suggested 45-50%) So now it's at 50% and I hope that really helps. She also said running it for long periods of time will also stress the machine. So I'm going to turn it off every once in a while.
One of Jenn's friends was having a birthday party and we were invited. So we went to her house and then we all headed downtown. Only about 7 of us went down but that was plenty enough! I didn't dance much. I was more afraid of pulling my back more than anything. We went to the Sundance. I had a great time! I had no idea how big that place was, and that there were so many levels to it.
While we were there the "bitch" was there too. I saw her across the room and then at one point she was like 2 people away from Jenn. I didn't tell Jenn because I was afraid of what Jenn would do to her, Seriously! You don't want to mess with me and not expect to get the rath(sp?) of Jenn haha
She totally ignored me and I ignored her. It was a great night and we didn't get home till around 3:45am

Nothing happenin
I don't think anything will come of the post I typed time before last. I'm not going to go up to her boyfriend and tell him. I'm not going to play her game her way. I already told some people at work. If anyone comes up to me I'll confirm it but that will be it. I'll let trickle down to the right people and then we'll see how the rest falls into place.

Ear
I woke up this morning and my right ear was throbing with pain! It felt like it was bent downward and I was sleeping on it the whole night. ouch!

Laws come and go....But then some decide to come back
So the garbage by-law is back! Argh! what's wrong with city council? Can they make up their minds? Crazy shit.
I had yesterday off and it felt like 2 days instead of one. It just kept dragging on.
Remember what it was like in junior high and even high school when people would spread rumors about you? Or if not you, then someone else?
It's just as pathetic when an adult does it at work. I found out on Monday just how far she went and that just about everyone heard it, but when these people got to know me they knew not to believe it.
And I don't care anymore. She told me not to tell anyone but I don't care, after spreading that shit I would assume she wouldn't expect me to keep that promise so here it is for all the net to see it.
Here we go, I'll start from the beginning.
I had this friend at work, she was great, funny and smart and she brought a smile to everyone's face. I was glad that I had a great friend like her. There was nothing sexual about the relationship. Just friends. We would often go to a bar after work and have a beer and talk about work and stuff and then she would go home and then I would go to my home. She was more or less a person that I could just complain about work to and vise versa. Well one time she got REAL drunk and said that she wanted to have an affair with me on her boyfriend of 5 years. I told her "No, I don't want to ruin your life and our relationship that we have going here."
She made me promise that I would never tell anyone in fear that it would get back to her boyfriend.
We never hung out anymore after that day, I figured she was embarrassed for being drunk and saying what she did to me. She then comes up to me 2 weeks later to say she was having a house warming party for her new apartment and wanted me to come. Great, I thought, she still wants to be friends.
I go there and she kept giving me drinks, she was mixing them for me too. I had brought a few beer with me but they were gone rather quickly. I even remember telling her not to give me any more. What does she do? Put another drink in my hand. So I'm more drunk than I have been my entire life. I remember everything that happened. I was singing karakoe, I wasted a jar of sour cream dip on her floor like 4 times.
Later that night I felt like I should go home so I went upstairs to get my coat. They were all thrown on the bed. There must have been at least 20 coats there. I dove into them trying to find mine and get my cell phone so I could call for a ride. The coats were all so nice and cool to the touch and I was boiling hot. So I took a little nap. I remember someone trying to get me off the coats so I rolled over. Then I fell, I thought I was falling off a cliff but it was only the foot of the bed. What lands on top of me? My coat! Sweet! Now I can call home and get a ride. I take out my cell and cant remember the # so I call everyone on my phone list like twice before I realize that the # isn't on the list. I stand up and sit on the bed and then I remember, I call my ride and then lie down one more time on the coats while I wait. Ahhh sooo nice!
Then she comes in the room and tells me to get out and that she was very very mad at me. So I leave and fall down her stairs, I get carpet burn on my forehead.
Then next day at work she tells me she had to tell me that so I would leave the house because I have been up in that room for about 45 minutes and she was afraid I wouldn't want to leave the coats.
About 4 days later she changed her story, she said she caught me doing something dirty...."Self gratification" if you will, at the foot of her bed!! And that I left a mess all over the floor. I was horrified when I heard it. I knew it wasn't true and I have 62 people on my phone list to prove it! So I confront her and she said I did do it. She said "Oh, you were just so drunk you probably don't remember." Ha! Yeah right. I remember every moment at that party. I was set up. Was given drinks till she thought I wouldn't remember anything then made up this bogus story. Along with that she claims I told her I was gay. So it all points to her trying to get me back. For one thing I am not gay, and another thing when I'm that drunk I don't believe I would even be able to "perform" So this was all an attempt to attack me and my reputation at work. Well, so be it. EVERYONE will know the truth and I will not keep any secrets she told me. How immature can a person get? I guess I just found out.

Garbage by-law
So the day after we got that big tub to put our garbage in because of that stupid by-law I heard that they were not going to enforce it now because of all the complaints and people applying for exemptions. So our nice tub we got will stay on the deck and today I put out the garbage out to the curb by itself without any covering like everyone else on our street.
Shockin is the only word I can think of. For starters the City only gave us like 1 1/2 to 2 weeks notice and their rules were crazy. Like the weight of the container, the lid had to be attached to the base, and if t was on your property by like a foot or something they were not going to pick it up! The garbage by-law was just that... Garbage!

Motorcycle accident
So that motorcycle accident that happened here in town a few days ago happened to a guy that works where I work.
His department is small so it hit everyone there hard. They had a grief councilor there and all. I heard the company is paying to ship them all out to the funeral in a bus too. It's good to see such a big company deal with this situation right and treat it the way it should be treated and not just passed off as another day at work.
