Montana's

Jenn and I went to >Montana's Cookhouse< yesterday with a friend. I was very impressed with the atmosphere. I like themed restaurants and this one is going to have to go up there among my top 5 favourites. I had this meal called a smokehouse wrap. The waiter said that it's a lot of food and not very many people could finish it. So all 3 of us ordered it. It was some shockin good! and HUGE! I couldn't finish it, and that's saying something because I'm normally the first one done, with my plate cleaned. Jenn was the only one that actually ate the whole thing. I guess she was more hungry than us.
Then we went couch shopping. We went to that store right next to the mall. They had some good sets there but some of them were not that great for our place. We are by no means done shopping and I'd like to go to Sears sometime soon and check their selection out. Who knows, by end of May we just may be sitting around in comfort!
Oh it's really spring outside today! Last night was ok as well. Jenn and I went for a walk and it felt like 5 degrees outside. The temperature reader next to the lights at the intersection with Torbay Rd and Macdonald Dr showed only 2 degrees. But those things are never 100 % accurate. Now today it's about 12 degrees, the sun was shining in the bedroom at 6am again today. No fog and not even overcast, I'm starting to enjoy this :^)

I want a new couch

So life here in the apartment with just Jenn and I is going great, we are all moved in and settled away, there is still some clutter now mind you but it's nothing too bad. We are still without a couch at this time. For the first part of April we had a big ass storage unit sitting in the living room where a couch should be. We could not sell it by the time we had to get everything out of the house, so it came to our apartment with us.
I went to a website called >NLClassifides.com< and posted some pictures and a description and I got 2 calls within 1 hour. I sold it for 40.00. Was asking 45.00 for it but expected someone to try and cut it down a little. I was, in fact, kind of desperate to sell it because it was just taking up room and we could not get a couch while that was sitting there.
Now we have the room we haven't found one that we like, can afford or will fit into our apartment. we can't have anything that is over 80' long and can't have too high of a back. I also want a NEW couch since it will most likely come with delivery and warrently and stuff. I hope we really get one soon, the living room looks kinda empty without it.

Spring?

Dare I say it? I just might curse us all but I think spring is here. The past 3 days I don't think it went down below 5 degrees(during the day that is). And my allergies are starting to come back, that is a sure sign spring is here.
I just got back from collecting the money our old landlord owed us for the oil we left in the oil tank and he shook my hand and said that we were the best tenants he ever had. Wow, I wish I could say he was the best landlord, but then again he has tough competition. After all I lived at Blackmarsh and had the best landlord that ever walked the earth for almost 2 years.
Deb and Tammy are coming out today and they will be staying with us for the next few days. Must be nice to have vacation! haha ;^) I have to work the whole time they are in :^(

Stuck in Limbo

I have no idea what is going on at work anymore.
Over the weekend I was told that I would have to go to yet another department because due to client demands they are downsizing the current department I am in and increasing another project. This one is completely off line work and it will be a super great change for me but I just didn't like the way they are going about this thing. That is by not letting us know anything. We are completely left in the dark, I am supposed to start training for the new project at 5pm but no one has come right out and confirmed this. Everyone we ask say that there is training and that most likely it starts at 5 but we should really go ask the head of this department....that no one of us have yet to see in the building! Urgh! so frustrating, so we all decided to come in at 5 and see what will happen.
The supervisors in the depatment that I was in as of yesterday were real mean, they all had an attitude like they are doing you a favour by letting you breath the same air as them. I secretly want to trip them as they walk by my desk. Oh that would be so much fun! ;)
