Cheap iPod's

I was at work today and noticed that someone posted a for sale sign on the classifieds board in the lunch room. Selling iPod shuffles....the new ones - for $60.00 each! I couldn't believe it! Brand new and never opened too. I guess they are stolen...how else can someone get a hold on so many iPod's and are selling them brand new for just $60.00 each??

3 days off

I have 3 days off and I never really did much so far. Today is day 2 of 3 and yesterday was just like any other day. Jenn worked and I stayed home. It was cold and foggy outside, raining at times too. This type of weather during this time of the year really makes me more depressed than anything. Someone from work was was having an 80's party Saturday night, where you have to dress up as if you just walked out of that decade. Jenn and I really wanted to go, but just over all couldn't afford it, as well, Jenn was working. We topped the night of with laundry. Exciting!
Today Jenn is working again. It's sunny but really cold outside, I don't want to go out there anymore today. I was outside once, when I had to drop off some things to Jenn, and I got so cold. I have a touch of a cold now as well. My nose is constantly running and I feel dragged out.
I am addicted to playing Uno with Jenn. So far she has won over 35 games I have won
over 25. I will beat her yet! haha
We have been playing since her mom left from her visit earlier this month.
It's almost June..... Time truly flies.
Tomorrow we have to go to Wal-mart and do a few things.
Couch update: Still no couch....almost getting used to not having one.

Summer time

Well I've been busy working and enjoying this nice weather we're having. yesterday was 19 Degrees, and today was 21. The only downside about all this nice weather is that it gets really warm in the bedroom and we have no way to open the window since it's broken. We have the fan going constantly in there now.
I was getting out of the shower today and I noticed that I was losing a lot more hair. I couldn't believe how fast this is coming over me....or off me haha
It doesn't really bother me that much, there is nothing that can really be done about going bald. It's going to fall out no matter what I put in, on, or around my head. I can tell what my head will look like in about 15 years. I will have hair on the back and sides and one little puff of hair right in front in the middle. Jenn says she doesn't care if it falls out and that's all I care about.
Anyone else here join the facebook crazy yet? I'm getting in touch with so many people that I lost touch with over the years. I joined a group for my old elementary school. One for my graduating class in high school and also some fan groups for my favourite TV shows. I even got in touch with one of my childhood babysitters! Such an amazing site!
So this weekend is a long weekend, Victoria Day. A lot of people go camping this weekend and fishing etc. I on the other hand had to work yesterday AND today, but I am off tomorrow....when everything else is closed. SO I don't see me getting out and doing much. Unless it's really nice out.

Bumble bees

Jenn found a Hornet by the kitchen today when she got up. It was crawling on the floor. she killed it, then flushed it. Hornet and bumble bees freak me out, one time when I was in the store that our family owned for a short time a big bumble bee came in and was flying around everywhere and it came right for my head. I just fell flat on my back! haha I have such a fear of small things that fly, except for butterflies.
So you'd think I would be happy to hear that the world's population of Bumble bees are disappearing, but really I'm not. They help pollinate lots of flowers that turn into food we eat every day...such as "apples, nuts, avocados, soybeans, asparagus, broccoli, celery, squash and cucumbers. And lots of the really sweet and tart stuff, too, including citrus fruit, peaches, kiwi, cherries, blueberries, cranberries, strawberries, cantaloupe and other melons.
" I don;t want these to go extent because the bumble bee is gone :(

So mad right now

I'm so mad right now with Norton Antivirus. A few months ago I renewed my subscription for the System works 2003 version that I have had on my computer since I bought it. Recently I have been trying to download the updates for it to know what to look for when I do a scan. But it doesn't finish downloading because of some error it gets with windows service pack 2.
I emailed their customer support and I got a reply a few hours later saying that I basically wasted my money renewing it and should have just went out and bought the newer version. I thought that when I renewed, I would get all the updates anyways and that would be the same as getting the new version. There was no warning on their website saying "It's better if you get the newer product instead" or anything like that. It took my 39.99 with ease and that was it. Bastards!
I emailed back since they still never told me how to stop the error so I could at least be half-way protected with my shitty assed version of Norton.
They also said that if I renewed they will add the time remaining to the new one year subscription that comes with the new product. Oh gee thanks! I told them that I was basically up shit creek without a paddle (The word I used was "poop" though, I didn't want to sound too disgusting) and that they were not in the business of selling paddles that is for sure.
Now I know that there are a few free antivius software floating around but I don't want that crap. Some say it works. Yeah, so will dancing a jig in the living room to make ice cream fall from the sky. I've used a lot of them before, including AVG and they suck.

Sunny Monday

Wow! I have to say this is the best day so far this year, the sun is shining and the sky is bright blue! So nice. I think I'll go for a walk soon.

I don't really have much to say right now, I just feel like I should update.
There is a new reality show coming on TV on May 31st called Pirate Master. It's a little like Survivor, and will be on air while Survivor is off air for the summer. I think I will be watching it if I have time.
There are 16 people on 2 teams, dressed in pirate themed clothing as well, and they are give clues to a pirate treasure chest buried somewhere on some island. Throughout the game they are given clues and they have to trek through jungles, beaches, and even dive under water to get all the clues to find the gold(and keys to a Volvo) They also have something called a Pirate's Court, where they get together to banish a fellow member, they are then sent adrift on a raft. Just like voting someone out on Survivor. Should be very interesting.
Also in TV news, I read that my second favourite show of all times, LOST, is only going on for 2 more seasons after this one(3rd season). The writers really needed to know the end date so they can clue up all the story lines in time for the end and to make sure they all tie in together at that time. Hopefully it will be a great 2 seasons!!!

Food poisoning

So last week I had food poisoning. I thought I was going to die. I had never been so sick in all of my life, I was practically confined to the bed...or the bathroom. Also while I was sick the computer decided it also wanted to be sick and would not start up for us. I brought it to the shop for repairs and let them know that it just will not start up. We did this on a Friday and on Tuesday they called and told us it was ready. I went up and picked it up and brought it home. There was a problem though. They did something to our browser and we could not surf the net, besides the website that the browser had set as it's homepage. I was mad to no end because there was nothing wrong with the internet part of the computer at all, so they should not have touched the browser settings. It was the computer itself just not wanting to start. Grrrrr, so I had to uninstall the browser and re download it and install it, then everything was fine.
